1. General

By making a donation to Australian Good Samaritan (AGS Charity), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

 

2. Donations

• All donations are made voluntarily and are non-refundable, except as required by Australian Consumer Law.

• Donations can be made through secure online payment platforms, bank transfers, or other approved channels listed on www.agscharity.org.au.

• AGS Charity reserves the right to decline or refund a donation at its sole discretion.

 

3. Use of Donations

• Your donation will be used to support AGS Charity’s registered charitable programs and initiatives, including but not limited to humanitarian aid, community development, and health and education support.

• Unless expressly stated and agreed upon in writing, all donations will be applied to our general charitable activities.

 

4. Receipts

• A confirmation and receipt will be issued upon successful processing of your donation.

• Donations of AUD $2.00 or more are tax-deductible within Australia.

• It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact and email details to receive your receipt.

 

5. Data Protection and Privacy

• Donor information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

• We do not store full credit card or banking details. All transactions are processed securely via third-party providers.

 

6. Recurring Donations

• Donors may choose to set up recurring (monthly/annual) donations. These may be cancelled or modified at any time by contacting us directly.

• AGS Charity is not liable for any losses resulting from delays in cancelling recurring donations.

 

7. Tax Deductibility

• Australian Good Samaritan is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

• Donations of AUD $2.00 or more are tax-deductible in Australia. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your eligibility.

 

8. Changes to Terms

• AGS Charity reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time without prior notice.

• The most current version will always be available at www.agscharity.org.au/terms.
